A Couple and a Team

Gary and Joan had past lives before closets and shutters! Both grew up in Washington State, Gary on the coast and Joan in the Seattle area, and both graduated from Central Washington University.

Gary served as an Air Force pilot and worked as a systems analyst for Boeing. He’s a longtime craftsman passionate about design, building and remodeling, and guarantees your satisfaction with every job.

Joan was a public school teacher and librarian before joining Gary in the business and is a key partner specializing in sales, marketing, design, and finances for Amazing Spaces.

Both found their passion in working with homeowners to help design custom storage solutions for home needs such as closets, offices, pantries, garages, and  interior shutters  – and followed their dream to run a business together.
